I hope to see some of you from before, and I am looking forward to showing you around Scotland and having interesting and exciting lessons. This will be my fourth year summer teaching at BLISS and I delighted to be Senior Teacher. I am also the Designated Safeguarding lead
All year round I teach English in Spain and I am looking forward to teaching in Scotland. I am Half Scottish so it is exciting for me to be here. My hobbies include tennis and I will be doing that with you too, this summer.

Residential and Activities staff
Hi everyone, my name is Ava, and this will be my third year working in the fun-filled BLISS summer school. I'm currently studying social care in college in Ireland where I'm originally from. My favorite thing is creating art out of random objects and listening to and dancing to music. One of my many favorite parts about being part of the BLISS team is getting to know and make fun memories with the students through their learning and activities. My favorite moments from BLISS are the talent shows and dance parties we threw. I can't wait for BLISS summer 2024. I can't wait to see old familiar faces and new faces.

Hi my name is Michaela, this will be my second year working for the brilliant BLISS, I'm in college now studying theatre and drama. My favorite thing to do is being on stage and organising entertainment. The best thing about BLISS was helping the students and watching them learn over the days we spent together. My favorite moments were the talent shows and games we played. I can't wait be back for summer 2024!

Hi! My name is Brody and I’ll be an activity leader this summer, at Kilgraston. In my spare time I like creating digital art and drawing characters. I am also an avid runner, as well as a writer and video producer. I am looking forward to being able to use these skills at summer camp to help make some fun activities and help everyone get to know each other and have a memorable time. This will be my second summer at BLISS.

Hi, I am Holly. I am teacher of Physical Education, currently working in Scottish Schools. I studied at the University of Stirling to get a degree in Sport Studies, Physical Education and Professional Education. I have a background in dance and badminton and in my free time I love to be active whether that be playing sports or going on long walks.
I am very excited to be returning to BLISS Summer School as the Camp Manager, at Strathallan. I had a brilliant summer last year and my favourite moment would have to be playing volleyball with the entire camp in the evenings! I am thrilled to be returning to the camp and can’t wait for another great summer. This will be my third year at BLISS! |
Hi, I am Suzanne. I have been a teacher since 2001, I have managed schools in the UK and abroad and I worked in Italy for over ten years, as a teacher. I gained my Diploma in TESOL in 2017, which allows me to act as Academic Manager at BLISS. I am really passionate about providing the best possible English language provision for our students, while ensuring they have the best fun summer possible!
I am also the Managing Director of the school, which means that I get to travel around meeting many of our students who are staying in summer before they come over - which gives me a great insight into their cultures and languages. I did my university degree in Glasgow, in Scotland (where I am from) in Marketing and Communication.
I really love my job as I can combine lots of skills into the one thing I adore - teaching English! I also work as a TEFL teacher trainer through the year. My aim is to find the perfect balance between summer and school.
In December 2021, I was elected as the Chair of English UK Scotland, which is a role that I am honoured to have and also excited to be involved in. I'll keep you up to date with our news!

Hi I'm Alex. I am a BLISS director and you will find me on 2 campuses this summer, Strathallan and Kilgraston. I have a degree in Computer Science, from Napier university, in Edinburgh. I have many hobbies, including drumming, playing the bass guitar, coding and travelling. The picture of me was taken when I was visiting Monte Faito, just outside Naples.

Hello! I'm Lynn, I work with BLISS all year round, so you might have had some emails from me! I am on 2 sites this year, Strathallan and Kilgraston. I am the Business Support Manager for BLISS and I am very much getting to know. the students and I am excited for my first BLISS summer. I have a degree in Administrative Management BA (hons) from University of Lincoln and I have lots of hobbies, but chatting to my grandchildren in Australia is my favourite!
