How we look after you
Supervision & Pastoral Care at BLISS
At BLISS, supervision and pastoral care are not add-ons — they are fundamental to how our programmes are designed and delivered.
We work exclusively with leading boarding schools because these environments are purpose-built for young people. Every space, system, and routine is structured to ensure students feel safe, supported, and fully part of a community from the moment they arrive.
Our students live in boarding houses where experienced residential staff provide consistent care, guidance, and supervision throughout the day and night. These are not temporary setups — they are established pastoral environments designed specifically for under-18s, with clear routines, strong safeguarding practices, and a genuine sense of belonging.
What does this mean in practice?
Our team plays a central role in this. With a high proportion of returning staff each year, students benefit from experienced professionals who understand the importance of pastoral care and take pride in creating a warm, respectful, and positive atmosphere.
We believe that when students feel safe, supported, and settled, they are able to engage more fully — academically, socially, and personally. That’s why pastoral care sits at the heart of everything we do.
